“The book, Crap at the Environment by comedian Mark Watson inspired me to paint environmental paintings. A line in his book “The Lazy Activist” resonated, how some people think and talk about environmental issues but don’t get involved in doing something about it. The painting of cars in the water came about by being in the city at Christmas instead of the beach. Interested in time and place being changed. The two images fused together. That led to Landscape and Boardroom and Boardroom and Landscape”
“My passion for the environment, has led me to extraordinary places. I carry my camera everywhere, capture images and then translate these images onto canvas. I have been inspired to capture the fun, romance, beauty that I can then share with others through my work.”
