Capricorn Fine Arts is pleased to announce that its next exhibition “Where the Mistral blows- Images from the Côte d’Azur” will open in Australia in November 2016 before coming to Europe in spring 2017.
The South of France, with its unique landscape and magical light, has long been a source of inspiration for artists.
This exhibition captures, through the paintings of three established Victorian artists, Sally Joubert, Brian Kewley and Rick Matear some of the essence of the region’s timeless beauty.
The artists will showcase new works inspired by their recent residency in the South of France. The exhibition will open at the Alliance Francaise de Melbourne on 15th November and continue until 18th November.
The paintings will then be at the Merricks Restaurant Gallery in Merricks, Victoria from 26th November until 12th January 2017.
